Security Dog Handler Training

We offer a nationally accredited Security Dog Handlers Course. This training will give participants approval security license. This course covers:

• Understanding the legal requirements of security dog management and handling
• Selecting and assessing the suitability of security dogs
• Maintaining the welfare and the health of security dogs
• Developing and implementing training programs designed to train security dogs in the correct protocol
• Conducting both apprehension and protection work alongside the guard dog
• Understanding the organisational requirements of the management of security dogs

Graduates of our security dog handler course will receive the Statement of Attainment to:

• Manage Dogs for Security Functions
• Handle Dogs for Security Patrol
